Tarantino - Liam Gallagher

Recently I started my journey of trying to watch all of the top Quentin Tarantino movies, and they're definitely different. From Django Unchained to Inglorious Bastards Tarantino's movies are far from your standard films. With most of his movies pushing the two-hour mark and beyond it's hard not to notice how every aspect, from the script to the effects, is thought out in a way that they will each have their own impact on the viewer. He also loves to constantly push the boundaries on today's standards for "political correctness" that serves the purpose of both intriguing the viewer while also serving to shed light on darker parts of history in a more accurate manner. When putting this all together and combining it with great actors such as Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson, and Lionardo DiCaprio who appear in many of his films it's easy for me to say he's created some of the best movies I've ever watched.

With 73 nominations and 23 wins across the Academy Awards, Critics' Choice Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and more it's hard to argue with the success of Tarantino's films. After announcing that he soon plans to retire there may only be a handful of new movies left to go out and add to these totals but there is no award to truly recognize the uniqueness of his films. It's hard to describe how different yet special his movies are in a few short paragraphs, but next time you have time to kill or are looking for a good movie to watch a Tarantino movie would be a great way to mix it up.
