Super Bowl - Austen Frattura

The Super Bowl

America's favorite day is coming up very soon and it promises to be a matchup unlike any other. At the end of a season like none other, only two teams remain the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs. The venue is actually in Tampa and it is the first time a team made the Super Bowl in their own city. This is a very big deal because it will be a home game atmosphere for the Buccaneers, possibly giving them a slight advantage. While on the other side for Kansas City, arguably the most dynamic skill players in the game. Overall, this game promises to be outstanding and offers a lot to look forward to.
The reason this game is important to me is that my two favorite players are going head to head. Tom Brady is the winningest player in NFL history and smartest in my opinion. Brady has six Super Bowl wins under his belt and is undeniably the best football player to ever live. The craziest part about Brady's journey is that this is the first time he has played for a team other than the Patriots and he already has completely turned the Buccaneer's franchise around and has them competing for a title.

Opposing Brady is Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, which also happen to be defending Super Bowl champions and arguably the most talented team in the league, but the main star is Mahomes. Mahomes is a dynamic and creative player, who can do it all. He is the best player in the league and still early in his career. If there is one player who can possibly challenge Brady at the best of all time it is Mahomes. To do that Mahomes will have to beat Brady this year and win at least six Super Bowls in his career. That may seem like a tall task, but Mahomes may be capable of that level of greatness.

The reason this game is so important to me is that I admire both of these players and an era may come to an end. Brady has been dominant for as long as I have watched football, but Mahomes may be the next in line. This game may decide the direction of power in the league and possibly the best QB matchup to date. This game is the grand finale of my favorite sport and I am looking forward to it. Another reason this game is especially important to be is that it may be one of Brady's last (Brady is 43 years old). I am excited for this game and hope it lives up to its expectations.
