You Can't Even Put it into Words- Meghan Smith
When it's so important that you can't even put it into words.
So you write,
when you're forced to learn and learn you do.
And you write,
when you watch your best friend turn into a stranger.
And you write,
when your parents fight and you're too scared to tell them to stop.
And you write,
when you question your sanity, strength, and self-worth.
And you write,
when you realize you're in love and there's no way they'll ever feel the same.
And you write,
when you feel like all your dreams are never going to come true.
And you write, and you write, and you write because you know too well that the day you stop is the day that you stop being you.
So you write.
Because it's the only thing you ever needed to do.
And you write
because you'll find a new best friend, who'll never leave your side.
And you write
because your parents still love each other even if they live apart.
And you write
because it's okay to feel small in this big big world.
And you write
because you're in love, and it's unrequited and messy, but it's love.
And you write
because you dream new dreams that you want to achieve even more.
And you write, and you write, and you write because it's just as important to you now as it was when you first learned how.
So you write.
Because it's so important that you can't even put it into words.
But you can write it down.
This is so powerful!!! There is so much emotion, and the repetition created a really beautiful rhythm.
