Ferris Bueller's Day Off was a film from the late 1980s which was popular all throughout the 1990s. If you haven't seen the movie, in short, it's about a senior in high school named Ferris who faked illness to skip school and hang out with his friends. His principal is the antagonist in the film, and has a weird obsession with Ferris, and always anticipates that he will catch him in the act of skipping school and get him into trouble.
If you aren't familiar with astrology, this may seem a little crazy, but try to follow me here. Everyone has an astrological sign. There are 12 signs, each corresponding to a period of time in the year. In this case, a Virgo is someone who is born between the dates of August 23rd to September 22nd. Each astrological sign has a chart and other details, but it's a little complex. Basically, your sign tells you about yourself and can indicate how you may in certain situations and also includes common personality traits of the sign. So for Virgos, common traits include: practical, sensible, loyal, perfectionists, meticulous, overthinker, and organized. These traits may not be true for everyone of the sign, but generally they are pretty accurate- and it's very interesting to look into!
In Ferris Bueller's Day Off, one character Ferris calls upon to hang out with him while he skips school is Cameron. Cameron appears to be a very sickly child. His first scene was him in bed, with depressing music on and the feeling of congestion could be felt through the screen. But Ferris, as he always does, convinces Cameron to do what he wants and go see Ferris. But that doesn't mean that Cameron isn't reluctant to leave. The difference between Cameron and Ferris is that Cameron is sensible. He knows that Ferris is up to no good and that he shouldn't play along in his shenanigans, and it's hilarious seeing Cameron getting in and out of his car, debating whether he should make the trip to Ferris or not. Cameron here is demonstrating the traits of sensibility, loyalty to Ferris, and overthinking.
When Cameron does finally arrive at Ferris's house, Ferris asks him for a favor. He wants Cameron to call the principal and pretend he is the father of Ferris's girlfriend to get her out school for the day. Cameron thinks he is nuts, and has the sensibility to know that this is a very bad idea- but obviously he Ferris convinces him to do it. While on the phone, Cameron demonstrates his practical thinking skills by coming up with lines on the spot in response to the apprehensive principal who believes that this is Ferris's doings, and although his suspicions were correct, Cameron convinces him otherwise.
Lastly, let's look at how Cameron dresses. in the film, he wore very particular outfits with many minor details. Cameron has a fire dressing style, but the meticulous choices made pushed me over the edge in believing that Cameron is a Virgo!
Hey Chad, it's Rachel. Loved this, loved the energy. As a virgo rising, I am fully convinced Cameron is also virgo.
