The Significance of a Podcast -Dillon Caswell

For many people, I know that they wish they could go somewhere every once in a while to escape from reality, but unfortunately that isn't humanly possible. However, many have the mental experience of being in a "zone" where all the stress and anxiety disappears for a while. I can greatly believe in the fact that everyone has this happen to them.

Since the beginning of quarantine, I have been listening to podcasts which seems to take me into that "zone" every time. People commentating about their crazy experiences only makes me happier.  I never realized that people experience stress and anxiety just like myself.

Five reasons you and your business need a podcast | Inside Small Business

I feel as though these podcasts especially remove me from the world and all the stress that lingers around me. For me, it makes me stop overthinking things in my life. A joke that makes your mood much better only helps and keeps you from sliding down the slippery slope of stress and anxiety!

Whenever I wanted something stressless to do, I would listen to a podcast because it keeps my mind off of anything going on from something like school. Whenever I go for a run, I turn a podcast on because it not only motivates me, but I try to get a large number of miles in before the hour episode ends, which means I run faster! If I am doing other types of exercises, I play a podcast and get into that "zone", the escape from reality. I personally believe that all people should listen to a podcast because it will only lighten up the mood, no matter the situation. Podcasts are one of the biggest morale boosters for me, and I greatly believe that others would say the same. They have transformed my life for the better, and I don't know how I would be surviving if I never discovered what podcasts were during Quarantine!
