In The Wind
Once in the wind’s gust it is hard to escape
It pushes you back farther and farther
Draining you by the minute
When you try to guide your attention
It pushes you back
When you want to achieve your goal it gains strength
It pushes you back
It’s so simple and easy to work with the wind and turn around
But you will never reach what you want if that happens
The wind surrounds you
It pushes you back
It drives you in different directions
It pushes you back
It clouds your conscious with it’s loud roar
It pushes you back
It tears your eyes if you try to look ahead
It pushes you back
It seems to control your very emotion
It pushes you back
But one thing it can’t control
Is your motivation
You push it back
Your mentality
You push it back
Your energy regains once more
You push it back
You can feel it’s gust growing weaker
You push it back
The roaring stops
You push it back
You can see your direction once more
You push it back
And you can reach your goal
You push it back
I dig the chiasmus, and the whole concept of the wind being the obstacles all of us seem to have is like something out of a Nike commercial. Really motivational.
