My Thoughts About the School Year by Arianna P.

    This school year is completely different from any other year of school I had. We are online only for now, and it sucks. While I haven't had any trouble so far grade-wise, I still feel like the quality of learning in all my classes is much lower than it would be if we were in school. It is harder to learn when you aren't in the actual classroom, and because I have never met most of my teachers, it is hard to connect with them. However, I am optimistic. I believe that we will eventually go back to school. The school claims we will return in November, but I have a hunch it will be closer to January due to the holiday season beginning right after our planned return. We really need to go back. The computers are so laggy that many students miss out on a lot of the lessons each day, and because of the fact that we are all at home, it's hard to work with other people. And yet, I have been assigned a lot of group projects already. This is ok, but it is frustrating sometimes to have to work with others through a computer screen. I just hope this all blows over soon so that everything will go back to normal, and we can go back to school!

    It is certainly unlike anything we've experienced before. I hope that we can get back in the classroom sooner than later too!

    I totally agree with you, the computers take so long and never load. I hope we get back to school soon so the computers and stop making issues and we can get a quality in-person learning experience.

    Yeah, there have been so many connectivity issues that it's not even funny. I've had entire class periods filled with the teacher frantically trying to get the "present" mode to work. I hope we can go back to school soon!

    There is so many internet issues, and problems, and I really just want to see my friends and teachers in person again. Especially with the group projects... I hope we can all get back to school soon and see each other in person again!

    I 100% agree with you on the group projects. It is so much harder online. Especially if you don't have your group members phone numbers.
